On the participation of the director of the State Archives of the Brest Region in the international scientific and practical conference

June 27-28, 2024 Director of the State Archives of the Brest Region Karapuzova A.G. took part in the international scientific and practical conference «1944. The legacy of the liberation of Belarus in historical research and family archives», organized by the State Institution «Memorial complex «Brest Hero Fortress» and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, where she spoke with the report «Revival of the city of Brest after liberation from the Nazi occupation.»

The conference program included a screening of a short documentary film «To the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Brest from the Nazi invaders,» prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo and Sound Documents as part of the project «Open Film Archive. We brought this day closer as best we could.»

As part of the two-day event, a banner exhibition of archival documents «There was a war… There was a victory!» prepared by the State Archives of the Brest Region was demonstrated to its participants.
