On July 1, 2024, on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, as part of the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, employees of the National Historical Archive of Belarus in Grodno laid flowers at the monument to border guards in Grodno and observed a minute of silence honored the memory of the soldiers who fought against the Nazi invaders in the first days of the war.
