Carrying out events within the framework of the action «Archives for School» in the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa

As part of the events of the Year of Peace and Creation and the Republican campaign «Archives for School» for pupils of labor and recreation camps «Young Patriot» and «Profi» of secondary schools No. 11 and 7 in Rechitsa, employees of the Rechitsa State Archives conducted sightseeing tours of the archives and departments of the institution.

Young men and women were shown unique documents, as well as the work of archivists in the acquisition and creation of archival funds, including funds of personal origin.

Further, in the reading room of the archive, in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus (July 3), lessons of patriotism were held on the topic «For beloved Belarus!». At them, our guests refreshed their existing knowledge, discovered many interesting facts about their homeland and met its famous natives and residents (nun Euphrosyne of Polotsk, politician Lev Sapega, artist Marc Chagall, physicist Zhores Alferov, film director Igor Dobrolyubov, etc.).
