On the eve of the 80th anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy, within the framework of the «Archives to School» campaign, employees of the State Archives of the Minsk Region institution conducted a series of lessons for students of the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 10 in Minsk

On March 16, 2023, in the Year of Peace and Creation and within the framework of the Republican campaign «Archives for School» for students of grades 8-11 of the State Educational Institution Secondary School No. 10 in Minsk, a series of lessons-lectures was held, timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy. During the event, employees of the Department for the Use and Publication of Documents of the State Archive of the Minsk Region presented the presentation «Remember in order to live. Burnt villages. A crime without a statute of limitations». The presentation was prepared on the basis of archive documents testifying to the destruction of the Belarusian village of Khatyn, which became the main national monument of mourning and grief, as well as on the basis of archival materials on perpetuating the memory of the tragedy.
