Conducting a lesson for students as part of the «Archives for School» campaign

On December 11, 2022, as part of the «Archives to School» campaign, the institution «The State Archive of the Grodno Region» for students of class 11 «B» of the State Educational Institution «Secondary School N28 in Grodno» held a lesson on the topic «Partisans and underground workers of the Grodno region».

The staff of the archive acquainted high school students with documentary materials on the activities of partisan brigades and anti-fascist underground groups that operated on the territory of Grodno during the Great Patriotic War.

The students were presented with the exhibition «Human Fates. In memory of the victims of fascism», showing the tragedy of the civilian population during the Great Patriotic War, revealing the policy of genocide of the Belarusian population by the German fascist invaders. The staff of the reading room demonstrated collections of archival documents prepared with the participation of the State Archives of the Grodno Region.
