Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno in the national voluntary campaign “Forest Week” timed to the Year of Historical Memory

On 11 April 2022, five employees of the National Historical Archives in Grodno took part in the national voluntary action “Week of the Forest” dedicated to the Year of Historical Memory and initiated by the Ministry of Forestry in the Republic of Belarus.

To become a participant in the Forest Week-2022 the Archives staff addressed to the State Forestry Institution “Grodno Forestry”, which designated the area in need of young trees in Gozha forestry and provided them with the necessary planting material and equipment.

The archivists planted 2300 pine seedlings. Thus, the team of the National Historical Archives in Grodno contributed to the creation of the green resources of our country.
