Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Working hours before holidays are one hour shorter, with the lunch break included. Saturday and Sunday are closed.
Applications for certificates are accepted: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday – from 8:00 to 20:00 with a lunch break from 15:00 to 16:00.
Users will be able to use the archive’s reading rooms as follows:
At 22 Kalinina Street: Monday through Friday: 8:00 to 17:00 with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00
At 32 Lenina Street, 48 Pravda Street, 90A Frunze Avenue: after submitting a preliminary request (oral or written) to a reading room employee by phone at 67-23-76, 67-21-98, or by email at vitreadroom@vitebsk.by with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00.
The archive administration reserves the right to establish special operating hours for the archive’s reading rooms, based on the timings of educational and other events. Therefore, the archive administration asks that you confirm the opening hours before visiting the reading rooms by calling 67-23-76.
Please note that the archive’s storage facilities are closed on the last Friday of the month and December 31st. During these cleaning days, only previously ordered files are available for use in the reading rooms for researchers and representatives of organizations.
