- abolished Kozlovshchina, Liubcha and Mir districts of the Baranovichi region and later Grodno region
- Diatlovo, Korelichi, Novogrudok aand Slonim districts of the Grodno region

The main bulk of the archive’s holdings are records created by local authorities and various institutions that illustrate social, political and economic life in the region. There is also a collection of personnel records and a collection of personal papers.
Of the most interesting are the following materials:
- On the restoration and development of economics and social sphere (fonds of the district and village executive committees)
- On the economic, political and social life in the region (fonds of social welfare and labour administration, labour organizations, people’s courts and prosecutor’s, finance and tax inspections, architectural institutions, etc.)
- On the development of agriculture and industry (fonds of collective and state farms, forestries and industrial enterprises)
- On various educational institutions
- On culture and mass media (fonds of cultural institutions aand newspaper editor’s offices)
- On healthcare and medical assistance to the population
- Collection of personnel records of various institutions for the periods 1944-1963 and 1989-2000
