Historical background
The Archives was founded on November 11, 1963 as the Branch of the State Archives of Grodno Region in the town of Novogrudok on the basis of the abolished town and district archives in Novogrudok and Slonim.
In February 1996 the Branch received its present name of the Zonal State Archives in
Novogrudok.
