An exhibition of historical documents, “Soviet Society and War 1941-1945” was opened on April 9, 2010 in Moscow. The organizers are the Federal Archival Agency of Russia, the Russian State Archives of the Economy, the Russian State Archives of Documentary Films and Photographs, the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Republic of Belarus, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, and the Belarusian State Archive of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings. The following institutions took part in the preparation of the exhibition: the Russian State Archives of Socio-Political History, the State Archives of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Archives of Literature and Art, the Archives of the President of the Russian Federation, the Central Archives of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Historical Museum, the Polytechnic Museum, the Holocaust Educational Center, the Central Archives of Electronic and Audiovisual Documents in Moscow.
