A new online exhibition of documents Participants of the Partisan Movement in Belarus – Leaders of the BSSR and the USSR in the 1950s-1970s is available on the website.
The exposition features over 400 records (textual documents, photographs, sound and video recordings) relating to the key figures in the partisan movement and underground resistance in Belarus during the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, who in the post-war period were the leaders of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic and the Soviet Union (M.V. Zimyanin, V.I. Kozlov, V.Z. Korzh, V.E. Lobanok, K.T. Mazurov, P.M. Masherov, I.E. Polyakov, P.K. Ponomarenko, S.O. Pritytsky, F.A. Surganov).
The archival sources are available from the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus, and the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Records.
