First Deputy Director of the Archives and RM Department Olga Biryukova held a meeting on issues of archives digitization

On 22 August 2018 First Deputy Director of the Department for Archives and Records Management at the Justice Ministry Ms Olga Biryukova held a meeting with Head for Development and Relations with Russia and former USSR countries, Microfilming Project Manager at the National Archives of Finland Dmitry Frolov. The Department’s Head for Information and Records Use Grigory Zholnerkevich took part at the meeting.

The participants informed each other about the activities of the state archives in Belarus and Finland in archives digitization and preservation.

The meeting also discussed the issues of access to archival records and the provision of information for users.
