The collection of documents and materials titled “The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. 1928-2008” was published by Belorusskaia Nauka Publishing House in Minsk.

The book is a joint project of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences History Institute and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus. The first section, which makes the main part of the book (pages 11—698), includes resolutions by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus Bureau relating to the BSSR Academy of Sciences for the years 1928—1991 and the related materials which are now held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB. Fond 4п. Opis. 1, 61, 81, 117, 123, 128, 134, 140, 144, 150, 160); the second section includes resolutions by the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus, decrees, edicts of President of the Republic of Belarus, laws of the Republic of Belarus adopted in 1991 and relating to the Academy’s activity and science development in general.
