On 29 May 2013 the heads of archives services and state archival institutions in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine held a three-party meeting in Brest Region. The event included the international conference on Information Technologies in Archives and Records Management.

The welcome speech on behalf of the Governor of Brest Region K. A. Sumara was delivered by the administrative director at the Brest Regional Executive Committee F. S. Stelmakh. Among the participants at the conference was the head of the main justice administration at the Brest Region Executive Committee S. A. Kalinovsky.
