Department for Archives and Records Management of Belarus, Federal Archival Agency of Russia held a joint board meeting 28 May 2013
On 28 May 2013 the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Archival Agency of Russia held a joint board meeting in Brest Region, Belarus.
Attending the meeting from the Belarusian side were the director of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Justice Ministry of the Republic of Belarus V.I. Adamushko, department’s deputy director O.A. Ledovskaya, department’s head of the records and information use G.S. Zholnerkevich, director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies A.E. Rybakov, director of the National Historical Archives of Belarus D.V. Yatsevich, director of the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings V.V. Balandin, director of the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific-Technical Documentation A.M. Zapartyko, director of the Belarusian Research Center for Electronic Records V.L. Nosevich, director of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus N.K. Rudakovsky, director of the Central Laboratory for Records Microfilming and Restoration I.V. Silin etc.
From the Russian side the meeting was attended by the deputy chief of the Federal Archival Agency of Russia V.P. Tarasov, chief of the archival services at the Federal Archival Agency A.V. Yurasov, chief of the international relations at the Federal Archival Agency K.G. Chernenkov, director of the State Archives of the Russian Federation S.V. Mironenko, deputy director of the Russian State Archives of the Economics S.V. Saltykov, director of the Russian Research Institute of Records Management and Archival Studies M.V. Larin, chief of the State Archival Administration for Pskov Region T.E. Gerasimenok, chief of the Committee for Archives in Nizhny Novgorod Region B.M. Pudalov, director of the State Archives of Smolensk Region N.G. Emelyanova.
The meeting discussed the issue of “The practice experience of the state archives in Belarus and the federal archives in Russia in the area of publication activities”. The information on the issue was delivered by the head of the records and information use at the Department for Archives and RM of Belarus, G.S. Zholnerkevich, and the chief of the archival services administration at the Federal Archival Agency of Russia, A.V. Yurasov.
The meeting also discussed the issue of implementing the Plan of Joint Actions of the Department for Archives and Records Management of the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Archival Agency of Russia for the years 2011–2013 and other issues related to the bilateral cooperation of the Belarusian and Russian archivists.
