Participation of republican archives in the «Give the Forest New Life!» campaign

As part of the national voluntary campaign «Give the Forest a New Life!» — held in Belarus from October 17 to 24, 2026—archival sector employees took part in a tree-planting initiative in the Dzerzhinsky District. The participants planted over 4,000 spruce saplings, contributing to the restoration of the forest resources of the Minsk Region.

For those working in the archival sector, participating in such environmental initiatives has become a cherished tradition. It is more than just physical labor in the fresh air; it serves as a symbol of continuity between generations — just as archivists preserve the nation’s documentary heritage, they also look after the preservation of its natural wealth.
