Inaugural archival lesson held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno as part of the «Archives for Schools» national campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project

On September 19, 2026, the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno hosted the first archival lesson, titled «Secrets of Archival Documents», as part of the «Archives for Schools» national campaign and the «Young Archivist» pilot project. The session was attended by students from the «Young Prosecutor» legal-track class (10A) of Secondary School No.28 (named after V.D. Sokolovsky) in Grodno. The event took the form of a combined lesson and tour. Students learned about the history of the archive, its core functions in preserving documentary heritage, and key concepts such as «archive», «archivist», and «archival source»; they also visited the exhibition hall and the reference library.
