On the «Archives for School» campaign held by the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok

On August 4, 2026, students from the health camp of Novogrudok Secondary School No.4 named after Pyotr Alekseevich Mazura visited the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok.

During the tour, the students learned about the history of the archive, the importance of preserving the records of various organizations, institutions, and individuals, and the role of archivists in this process. They were able to examine the first post-war documents and newspapers stored in the archive. They learned about the use of archival documents in researching the history of their families and native lands.

The film «Independence Day: A Chronicle of Belarusian Statehood», based on materials from the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, demonstrated the relevance of using archival documents for studying the history of the entire country.
