Representatives of the archival industry of the Republic of Belarus participated in the roundtable discussion «Changes in Legislation on Cybersecurity»

Cybersecurity is a key focus of the state’s attention. The updated Code of Administrative Offenses and the Provisional Code of Administrative Offenses, the new requirements of Order No.130 of the Operational and Analytical Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as the OAC), and Resolution No.246 of the Council of Ministers require careful consideration and adjustment of approaches to information security in government agencies, as well as in the commercial and financial sectors.

On July 22, 2026, a large-scale industry meeting with an expanded expert panel — a roundtable discussion on «Changes in Legislation on Cybersecurity» — was held at the President Hotel, National Hall (18 Kirov Street, Minsk). It was held by the National Cybersecurity and Cyber Incident Response Center (hereinafter referred to as the NCC) of the OAC.

The event was organized by the OAC on the premises of the Belarusian Republican Union of Lawyers with the support of YurSpektr LLC.

Representing the archival industry, the meeting was attended by: First Deputy Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, O.A.Ledovskaya; Deputy Head of the Department of Records Management, Formation, and Preservation of the National Archival Fund, A.V.Kochetkova; and Director of the Belarusian Center for Digitalization of Archival Activities, D.V.Shabrov.

Each meeting participant had the opportunity to directly address regulator representatives, identify practical challenges, and discuss law enforcement issues.

2. Discussion of amendments to Order No.130, issues related to the functioning of the CC, and interaction with elements of the national cybersecurity system.
3. Proposals and recommendations from the NCC regarding the functioning of the CC and ensuring the cybersecurity of the national information infrastructure.
