The State Archives of the Gomel Region took part in a ceremonial procession dedicated to Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus

On July 3, 2026, the staff of the State Archives of the Gomel Region took part in a ceremonial procession in honor of the country’s main national holiday – Independence Day.

Archivists marched along the main street of their beloved city of Gomel in a celebratory column under the banner of the Communist Party of the Republic of Belarus, along with government officials, students, and labor and creative groups.

Participation of archivists in the celebratory procession with their families and children has become a tradition and a vibrant symbol of unity and pride in their native country.
