The photo exhibition «Brest Fortress. Objective Memory» has opened at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

Starting June 22, 2026, the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) invites reading room users, archive visitors, and photography enthusiasts to visit the exhibition project of the «Positive» photo workshop at the Yanka Kupala Central Library in Minsk. The exhibition «Brest Fortress. Objective Memory» is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and the defense of the Brest Fortress. It was created with the participation of the primary organization of the Belarusian Union of Women at NARB.

Participants in the «Positive» photo workshop present a series of original photographs from the Brest Hero Fortress memorial complex. This is not simply a recording of monuments, but a deep immersion into the atmosphere of the place, an attempt to convey the drama and grandeur of the feat through light, shadows, and angles.

Exhibition «Brest Fortress». «Objective Memory» is a tribute to the generation of victors and a reminder of the importance of preserving the truth about the war in an era of information challenges.
