BSAML Participation in the Book Presentation of «The Female Image of Victory»

E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art, took part in the presentation of D.Koshevar and A.Radikevich’s book «The Female Image of Victory», organized by the Education and Health Publishing House at the Moskva Cinema.

This publication is a tribute to and memory of the women who, alongside men, brought the Great Victory closer, demonstrating fortitude, courage, and compassion.

V.P.Dovnar, Head of the Main Department for Ideological, Educational Work, and Youth Policy of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, opened the meeting. V.Ya.Novogrodsky, Director of the Publishing House, addressed the participants and guests with a welcoming address, emphasizing the profound patriotic and historical message of the new publishing project.

The presentation brought together readers, cultural representatives, and the media. The book was presented by its authors, Dmitry Koshevar and Anastasia Radikevich.

As part of the event, a presentation of children’s paintings was held for the Year of Belarusian Women. This exhibition was based on Elina Sapozhnikova’s book «I Can Do It! Inspiring Stories of Belarusian Women» and is dedicated to the achievements of our compatriots. The event concluded with a screening of the feature film «In August 44», directed by Mikhail Ptashuk.
