Participation of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art in the State Examination Committee at the History Department of Belarusian State University

On June 12, 2026, E.A.Makarenko, Director of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art, as a member of the State Examination Committee (hereinafter referred to as the SEC), participated in the defense of the diploma projects of graduates of the History Department of Belarusian State University. The committee was chaired by O.L.Voinov, Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The examination board heard the diploma projects of full-time students majoring in archival science.

During the defense, the young specialists successfully presented the results of their research and practical developments, demonstrated their in-depth theoretical knowledge, and answered expert questions. The participation of the Director of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the heads of leading archival institutions in the SEC emphasizes the high importance of integrating academic education and archival work, and also guarantees the continuity of traditions and the training of highly qualified personnel for the industry.
