Lesson and Tour at the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk as Part of the «Archives for School» Campaign

On June 12, 2026, as part of the «Archives for School» campaign, the Zonal State Archives in Slutsk hosted students from the «Solnyshko» health camp. Archive specialists organized a fascinating tour of the state archives for the students. During the tour of the archives and archival storage facility, the students learned a wealth of interesting information about the documents stored there and how archival collections are expanded and preserved.

The students also watched the documentary film «Hero Fortress», produced for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus.
