Staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region held two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» at Secondary School No.20 named after E.I.Chaikina in Grodno

On May 20, 2026, staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region organized two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» for students of Secondary School No.20 named after E.I.Chaikina in Grodno. The film was produced for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The unique archival footage made a strong impression on the students and once again reminded them of the courage and dedication of the Soviet soldiers who bore the brunt of the enemy’s first blows on June 22, 1941.
