In Vitebsk, on the eve of Victory Day, the results of the regional stage of the «Volgograd-Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» Project competition were announced

The main theme of the «Volgograd-Vitebsk: Memory of Generations» Project is the perpetuation of the memory of the participants in the Battle of Stalingrad (1943) and the Belarusian offensive operation «Bagration» (1944).

The final jury meeting for the regional stage of the competition was held on May 6, 2026, at the M.I.Denisenko Gymnasium No.4 of Vitebsk.

Igor Vitalyevich Demyanenko, PhD in Law and Head of the Russian Embassy in Vitebsk Office and Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, participated in the expert discussion of the works and the selection of the winners.

During the meeting, the jury noted the high level of preparation of the participants and their profound understanding of the historical unity of our cities.

5. Alina Chervyakova’s «Clear Sky» is the winner in the «Fine Arts» category (middle age group).

6. Victoria Yarotskaya’s «Three Generations» is the winner in the «Fine Arts» category (senior age group).

7. Kira Solovieva’s «Symbol of the Unconquered City» is the winner in the «Contemporary Visual Forms» category (senior age group).

8. Elena Pavlovich’s «Vitebsk Remembers» is the winner of the special «Memory» prize in the «Fine Arts» category.
