«Fortress – Hero!»: Archivists from the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno held a series of film lectures for healthcare staff in Molodechno

On the eve of the significant date – Victory Day – archivists from the Zonal State Archives in Molodechno presented the documentary «Fortress – Hero!» to the staff of the Maternity Hospital and Hospital No.2 of the Molodechno Central District Hospital. The film is based on archival footage of the heroic defense of the Brest Fortress from the collections of the Belarusian State Film and Photo Archive.

The documentary vividly depicts the defense of the fortress in the first hours and days of the Great Patriotic War, the fierce battles that unfolded on its territory, and scenes from commemorative events at the memorial.

The history of the defense of the Brest Fortress reminds us of the courage and heroism of its defenders and the importance of preserving historical truth and justice.
