Staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region held two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» at V.I.Kremko Secondary School No.40 in Grodno

On May 6, 2026, staff of the State Archives of the Grodno Region organized two screenings of the documentary film «Hero Fortress» for students of V.I.Kremko Secondary School No.40 in Grodno. The film was prepared for the 85th anniversary of the defense of the Brest Fortress by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents with the support of the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus. The unique archival footage made a strong impression on the students and once again reminded them of the courage and dedication of the Soviet soldiers who bore the brunt of the enemy’s first blows on June 22, 1941.
