A Unified Information Day was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus

On April 27, 2026, a Unified Information Day was held at the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB) on the topic «Chernobyl: From Revival to Sustainable Development». NARB Director A.K.Demyanyuk addressed the staff with an opening address. He briefly described the documents stored at the NARB and their public dissemination.

The keynote speaker was O.V.Levchuk, consultant for the Department of Nuclear and Radiation Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. He spoke about the Chernobyl tragedy and the enormous efforts of the Belarusian government to overcome its consequences and provide social support to the affected population.

Concluding his address, the speaker answered questions from NARB staff.
