On the Participation of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region in the Presentation of a Military History Collection

The State Archives of the Mogilev Region participated in the presentation of the 19th issue of the military history collection «Mogilev Search Bulletin», which took place on April 24, 2026, at the Mogilev History Museum.

The publication is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the heroic defense of Mogilev and the Mogilev Region in 1941. The collection features articles by Mogilev and Russian search teams, journalists, historians, and local historians. Some authors, such as Vladimir Zaremsky in his article «And Water is a Weapon» and Svetlana Borisenko «We Won the War with the Wounded», used documents from the collections of the State Archives of the Mogilev Region.

The event was attended by representatives of regional and city authorities, the prosecutor’s office, search teams, and young people. Archivists presented a banner exhibition, «Let’s Look Again at the Past», created using archival documents and photographs from the collections of the Belarusian State Film, Photo, and Sound Archive. The exhibition is dedicated, among other things, to the defense of Mogilev and its participants.
