On the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok holding thematic events dedicated to the Chernobyl tragedy

In anticipation of the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, the Zonal State Archives in Novogrudok organized and held thematic events at all educational institutions in Novogrudok commemorating the anniversary of April 26, 1986. These events included film lectures and screenings of the documentary «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy» and presentations of the documentary exhibition «The Pain of Chernobyl», prepared by the state archive. The exhibition features documents and photographs detailing the severe consequences of the disaster for the Republic of Belarus and the gradual recovery and development of the affected areas.
