Memory of the Chernobyl Tragedy: Film Lecture at Polotsk Secondary School No.2

On April 23, 2026, Polotsk Secondary School No.2 hosted a film lecture, «Chernobyl: Chronicles of a Tragedy». The event, organized as part of the «STEP» information and educational project, was timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the tragic events at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

Pavel Mikhailovich Safronov, an employee of the Polotsk Zonal State Archives, led students in a fascinating and educational session dedicated to those terrible days that forever changed the lives of thousands of people and left a deep mark on history.
