On the Participation of the National Historical Archives of Belarus in the National Cleanup Day

On April 18, 2026, the staff of the state institution «National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno» participated in a national cleanup day. The entire adjacent archive grounds were cleaned, and shrubs were trimmed. The archival institution’s employees’ workstations were also tidied up.

NIAB archivists in Grodno also tidied up the burial site of Alexei Sergeyevich Katkov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and director of the Central Historical Archives from 1954 to 1986, at the cemetery on Kosmonavtov Street in Grodno.

Occupational health and fire safety regulations were observed during all work.

The funds collected by the archive employees were transferred to the national cleanup day bank account.
