Dmitry Ivanov, a student at the Vitebsk branch of the Belarusian State Archives University, received a third-place diploma for his work on collaboration with the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region at the 6th All-Russian Student Conference with International Participation, «Russia and Belarus – Milestones in a Common History»
On March 30–31, 2026, the 6th All-Russian Student Conference with International Participation, «Russia and Belarus – Milestones in a Common History», dedicated to the Great Victory, was held at the Tikhoretsk Technical School of Railway Transport, a branch of the Russian State Transport University.
The event is included in the list of Olympiads of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. This is recognition of the high level of student research. This large-scale student conference brought together 200 participants from Russia, Belarus, and Vietnam.
An expert panel evaluated the work of 200 participants from 28 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, 4 regions of Belarus, and the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi. Among the winners is Dmitry Ivanov, a student in group TK 511, whose work was dedicated to studying the history of Vitebsk. The work reflects the long-standing collaboration between the branch and the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region as part of the national campaign «Archives for Schools».

The winners’ names will be included in the State Information Resource of the Russian Federation «Talents of Russia». A collection of abstracts will be published following the conference.
