On April 1, 2026, seventh-grade students from Vitebsk Secondary School No.7 visited the State Archives of the Vitebsk Region as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign

During the visit, the students learned about the history of archives and archival work in Belarus, received information about the main activities of modern archives and the network of archival institutions in the Republic of Belarus, watched a documentary about the liberation of the Vitebsk region from Nazi invaders, prepared by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, and learned about the document restoration process. The students also took a tour of the archive.
