The Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin presents the virtual exhibition «Character—Woman! Like Steel Is Her Nature!»

As part of the Year of Belarusian Women, the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin has prepared the virtual exhibition «Character—Woman! Like Steel Is Her Nature!»

The exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of Maria Smirnova, an outstanding poetess from the Zhlobin region and author of the book «Song to My Small Homeland». Through the prism of archival documents and literary heritage, the exhibition reveals the resilience of a woman’s character, strength of spirit, and boundless love for her native land.

The presented materials allow one to trace the poet’s life and see how inner harmony and loyalty to her values helped her overcome any adversity.
