Participation of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) and the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (NARB) in the BSU Open Day

On March 21, 2026, employees of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI), led by Director E.A.Makarenko, and employees of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus (hereinafter referred to as NARB), led by Deputy Director E.A.Stukanova, participated in the Belarusian State University Open Day, organized at the National Library of Belarus.

The goal of the event was to create a platform for dialogue between applicants, their parents, and potential employers – archival institutions – and to motivate talented young people to consciously choose the profession of archivist.

As part of the event, a meeting was held with the Rector of the University, A.D.Korol, and the deans of the faculties.

The Faculty of History was represented by a delegation led by Dean A.G.Kokhanovsky, and the Faculty of Philology by Dean S.A.Vazhnik.

NARB and BGAMLI presented their institutions, discussing vacancies, employment opportunities, and the benefits of their future professions.

Applicants had the opportunity to meet with faculty leadership, NARB, and BGAMLI, and receive the most up-to-date information about studying at BSU’s History and Philology departments.
