Participation of the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa in a Roundtable Discussion in Pskov

On March 12, 2026, a roundtable discussion entitled «We Need One Victory» was held at the Museum of the History of Occupation and Genocide of the Population of the Pskov Region (Russia). It was dedicated to the contribution of the peoples of the USSR to Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Among the participants was S.A. Zharnosenko, a first-category archaeographer in the Information and Document Management Department of the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa. In his presentation «The Liberation of Rechitsa and the Rechitsa District», Sergei Alexandrovich, via videoconference, outlined the key facts and chronology of the Red Army’s liberation campaign in Rechitsa and the Rechitsa District during the Gomel-Rechitsa Offensive Operation (November 10-30, 1943) and presented archival documents on the topic.
