In honor of Internationalist Warrior Remembrance Day, a ceremonial staff meeting was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation

In accordance with Decree No.157 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated March 26, 1998, February 15 is celebrated as Internationalist Warrior Remembrance Day. To honor the memory of these internationalist soldiers, a ceremonial staff meeting was held at the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation.

Acting Director Grigory Stepanovich Zholnerkevich delivered an opening address. In his speech, Grigory Stepanovich briefly recounted the events of 1979-1989, specifically focusing on the participation of Belarusians in them. Grigory Stepanovich emphasized the horrors of that war, calling for the memory of all those who suffered or died in the war, and for his respect for those who took part in those dramatic events.

A separate part of the ceremony included a speech by Boris Borisovich Chikilevsky, a combat veteran and the manager of the farm of the Belarusian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation. In his address to the staff, Boris Borisovich shared touching memories of those years and thanked everyone present for preserving the memory of those events.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Boris Borisovich was presented with commemorative gifts.
