AI-HISTORY: PARTISAN DRAWINGS BROUGHT TO LIFE

As part of its efforts to introduce modern digital technologies into archival management, the Department of Archives and Records Management of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus has produced a video using artificial intelligence technologies.

The video is based on drawings dedicated to the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War, provided by the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus. Using artificial intelligence tools, static images were artistically «animated», giving them a dynamic feel and creating the visual presence of historical images.

The «AI-HISTORY: PARTISAN DRAWINGS BROUGHT TO LIFE» project aims to popularize archival documents, preserve historical memory, and engage young audiences in the history of Belarus through modern forms of visual storytelling.

The video has been posted on the official channel of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
