On the occasion of Rescuer’s Day, a thematic excursion, «Fire Rescuers: From the Origins to the Present», was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno for 6th-grade students of Secondary School No.16 named after A.Sukhambaev

On January 26, 2026, as part of the national «Archives for School» campaign to promote archival activities, a thematic excursion, «Fire Rescuers: From the Origins to the Present», was held at the National Historical Archives of Belarus in Grodno. The excursion was timed to coincide with Rescuer’s Day and was attended by 6th-grade students of Secondary School No.16 named after A.Sukhambaev. During the excursion, the students learned about the history of the fire service in Grodno. They watched a presentation and were also introduced to archival documents on the topic.
