Visit of the Minister of Justice to the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin

On January 15, 2026, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, Yevgeny Iosifovich Kovalenko, visited the Zonal State Archives in Zhlobin. He was accompanied by Artem Sergeevich Kamalyev, Head of the Main Justice Department of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

The Minister was briefed on the results achieved over the past year and reviewed the conditions created for staff work and public reception. Particular attention was paid to the digitization of stored documents. As part of the visit, a tour of the archives was conducted, which allowed the Minister to become familiar with the storage organization and technical conditions.

This visit demonstrates the high importance and strategic priority of developing state archival institutions, taking into account modern requirements for information security and accessibility of archival materials.
