Media coverage of events marking V. Korotkevich’s 95th birthday at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI)
As part of the celebrations marking the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Belarusian writer Vladimir Korotkevich, a roundtable discussion on the writer’s multifaceted work and life was held at the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (hereinafter referred to as BSAMLI). The event also featured the grand opening of the literary and documentary exhibition «Knight of the Chalavechaga Duhu», which attracted the attention of leading national and national media outlets.
Film crews and correspondents from the BelRos TV channel, the BT 3 program «Kulturny Tydzen», and the Minsk-Novosti news agency were present at the archives and museum.
Reports and interviews from media journalists reveal the highlights of the roundtable discussion, details of the exhibition display, and exclusive commentary from the exhibition’s curator, leading archivist N.A.Mizon, as well as invited guests—researchers of V.S.Korotkevich.
The intense media interest once again confirms the enduring significance of Vladimir Korotkevich’s work for Belarusian culture and the importance of the Belarusian State Archives of Literary and Artifact Literature (BSAMLI) in preserving and promoting the national literary heritage.
In addition to television coverage and news reports, issue 6 of the journal «Archives and Records Management» published a substantial article dedicated to Korotkevich, authored by O.F.Shatalova, Head of the Department for the Scientific Description of Personal Documents at the BSAMLI.
