Collections of documents and materials from the State Archives of the Minsk Region were handed over to the Turov Diocese

On December 1, 2025, Priest Rostislav Bondarenko, a cleric of the Turov Diocese and chairman of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints, visited the State Archives of the Minsk Region.

The cleric was presented with collections of documents and materials, «Religious Life in the Minsk Region. Volume 1 (1918-1941)» and «Religious Life in the Minsk Region. Volume 2 (1941-1945)», prepared by staff of the State Archives of the Minsk Region using the institution’s collections.

On behalf of the Turov Diocese, Priest Rostislav thanked the archive’s staff for their contribution to preserving the historical memory of the Belarusian people and, in particular, the history of the Orthodox Church in our country.
