«Archives for School»: A History Lesson at Rechitsa Technical College

As part of the «Archives for School» campaign, a history lesson was held at Rechitsa State Technical College (Ozershchina village, Rechitsa District) dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Archivists from the Zonal State Archives in Rechitsa told students about the post-war restoration of agriculture in the Rechitsa District and demonstrated archival documents and publications on this topic from the archive’s research and reference library. The audience then watched the documentary film «The History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents and covering the main stages of the Great Patriotic War.
