Legal Education Day was held for employees of the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) and the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation (BSASTD)

On November 27, 2025, the Belarusian State Archives and Museum of Literature and Art (BSAMLI) hosted a Day of Legal Education and Legal Culture in Workplaces. The event was organized in pursuance of Resolution No.624 of the Executive Committee of the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus dated November 14, 2025.

On this day, a meeting was organized for employees of the BSAMLI and the Belarusian State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation (BSASTD) with Marina Grigoryevna Zmitrovich, legal labor inspector of the Minsk City Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Employees of State and Other Institutions.

The event program included two main sections:

– an educational lecture on the topical issue of «Regulating the Labor of Persons with Disabilities»;
– individual legal consultations, during which archival employees were able to receive qualified answers to questions regarding labor legislation and social guarantees.

A representative of the Minsk Central District Prosecutor’s Office provided information on potential violations and their prevention, as well as the measures the prosecutor’s office is taking to prevent violations.

Such events help improve employees’ legal literacy, strengthen social partnerships within the workforce, and clearly demonstrate the work of the trade union in protecting workers’ labor rights.
