About the «Archives for School» campaign at the Navahrudak College of Technology and Security

The Zonal State Archives in Navahrudak continues a series of meetings with students of the Navahrudak State College of Technology and Security in the form of themed memorial hours.

During a lesson dedicated to the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War, «Death Camps», Director of the State Archives A.S.Zabelinskaya told the students how the events of the Great Patriotic War influenced and changed the destinies of millions of people, the scale of the tragedy, and the crimes of the Nazi occupiers against humanity.

Students also viewed a virtual exhibition, «The Holocaust as One of the Manifestations of Genocide in the Navahrudak Region During the Great Patriotic War», whose documents and photographs tell the story of the mass extermination of the Jewish population during the war and the perpetuation of the memory of the victims of the Holocaust in the Navahrudak Region.
