Excursion for students of the Mogilev State Specialized Closed-Type Vocational-Technical School No.2 of Woodworking
Students of the Mogilev State Specialized Closed-Type Vocational-Technical School No.2 of Woodworking visited the State Archives of the Mogilev Region as part of the «Archives for School» campaign.
During the excursion, the students learned with great interest about the storage and use of documents, as well as their digitization.
Particular attention was paid to documents reflecting the history of the Great Patriotic War. A banner exhibition, «Let’s Look Back at the Past Again», was displayed in the archive’s foyer.
The excursion concluded with a screening of the documentary film «Partisan Republic», produced by the staff of the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents, in the archive’s assembly hall.
This is a striking example of how state archives not only preserve historical memory but also maintain a connection with the younger generation.
