On November 13, 2025, the XXXI International Scientific and Practical Conference «Documentation in the Information Society» was held
The conference was organized by the Federal Archival Agency (Rosarkhiv), the All-Russian Research Institute of Documentation and Archival Affairs (VNIIDAD), and the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH).
The conference was organized into two thematic sections:
1. Reliability of Electronic Documents: Theory, Technology, and Practice.
2. Digital Bureaucracy and Digital Red Tape: Current Issues.
Representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Uzbekistan presented papers at the conference, which was held exclusively online for the first time. Presentations from the Republic of Belarus were presented by A.E.Rybakov, Director of the Belarusian Research Institute of Document Science and Archival Affairs (BelNIIDAD), («The Impact of Digitalization on Document Generation and Document Flow in Public Administration»), and V.A.Barbarchuk, Research Fellow of the BelNIIDAD Department of Document Science («Detecting Counterfeit Electronic Documents: Traditional Methods and Modern Challenges»).
A total of 27 presentations on the stated topics were heard and discussed at the conference.
Webinar participants highly praised the level of the event, emphasized the importance and relevance of the issues discussed, and expressed gratitude to the organizers and speakers.
