«Archives for School» Campaign at the Zonal State Archives in Lida

On October 21, 2025, students from the 66-PPA group of the Lida College of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno visited the Zonal State Archives in Lida. The students attended a lesson on «Introduction to Archival Science» and were given a tour of the archives, including exhibitions.

The college students learned how documents are deposited in the archives, how to quickly search for information among the archive’s large collection of documents and holdings, and how to preserve and use them.

As part of the «Open Film Archive» project, the students were shown the films «Reunification», «Liberation of the Grodno Region», and «History of the Great Victory», produced by the Belarusian State Archive of Film, Photo, and Sound Documents.
